precautions for taking dalteparin sodium injection
2022-03-08 14:27:46

This drug is recommended with caution in patients with thrombocytopenia and platelet defects, severe hepatic and renal insufficiency, uncontrolled hypertension, hypertensive or diabetic retinopathy, and known hypersensitivity to heparin and/or low molecular weight heparin. Caution should also be exercised when treating patients with new surgery in high doses of this drug. Daparin sodium is used for clotting time, such as APTT (partial prothrombin time) or thrombin time. There is only a slight elongation effect. Anti-Xa methods are recommended as laboratory monitoring. Prolonging APTT while increasing the dose may cause overdose and bleeding. Patients on chronic hemodialysis with this drug usually require only a few dose adjustments, so only a few checks of anti-Xa concentrations are required. Patients undergoing acute hemodialysis have shorter intervals of treatment and should be thoroughly monitored for anti-Xa concentrations.

This drug has been measured in pregnant women and has not seen harmful effects on the course of pregnancy and the health of the fetus and newborn. However, during pregnancy should not be used injections containing preservatives, since it contains benzyl alcohol, which may pass through the placenta. It must be borne in mind that if benzyl alcohol is given before delivery or caesarean section, this is potentially toxic to premature babies. There is no data to prove whether sodium dacaprin enters breast milk.
